5.3 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded In Colorado
A series of earthquakes were recorded in southern Colorado on Monday.
The last one was the strongest to hit the state in nearly 40 years. That one, a 5.3 magnitude quake, came just before midnight.
Two other earthquakes were recorded by the National Earthquake Information Center in Golden, including a 4.6 magnitude quake earlier in the evening. They were centered just south of Cokedale in Las Animas County.
