IL - Chicago police brutality on the rise
Chicago police officers have killed more people this year to date than
the total number killed in 2010. According to the Independent Police
Review Authority (IPRA) there have been 43 police-involved shootings in
Chicago so far this year.
At least 16 people have been killed in police shootings already this year – more than the 13 total fatal shootings in all of last year.
Eighty-six percent of those shot by police this year – as of June 30 – were black, according to statistical reports by IPRA.
Black residents also constituted the majority of those injured or killed in police shootings in previous years.
Chicago police officers are the subject of more brutality complaints per officer than the national average, and the Police Department is far less likely to pursue abuse cases seriously than the national norm, a legal team at the University of Chicago reported in November 2010. Nytimes.com
The report, “The Chicago Police Department’s Broken System,” came amid troubled times for the force, the nation’s second largest, which is mired in accusations of misconduct and is the subject of open feuding among elected officials who disagree on aspects of its management.

The vast majority of violent criminals in Chicago are black, therefore they will be in conflict with the police at a statistically higher rate. This article is typical ANTI-WHITE RACIST propaganda. The brutality of the black criminal in Chicago is on the rise, the people don't like it either. Police have a tough job dealing with brutal uneducated and sociopath criminals.

Dude! I am white and I find yourcomments way off base. We have a really big problem in this country with a totally corrupt, repressive, and psychopathic legal system. We do not have a few bad apples in a barrel here but a absolutly rotten barrel. What is more is that this problem has been denied because it is a reality that conflicts with the secular religion of the doctrine of american exceptionalism. Your own denial of this problem is a perfect example of what I am talking about. Face it Anon, the USA is bcoming a police state and your denial of the situation is not helping.

This past week 100's of Black Youths assaulted and beat up whites leaving the Wisconsin State Fair - no media coverage? We definitely have a police state forming and a country divided. Abortion, homosexuality, feminism, pornography, drugs and an Administration, Judiciary, Military, Congressional and Financial authorities that are institutionalized corruption. Its nearly as simple as good vs evil and at the moment evil is victorious, "for now". We are witnessing the absolute unprecedented rape and plunder of our wealth by the bankers and financial institutions with the aide of Congress and the Administration. Constitution? What Constitution no authorities abide by it anymore nor the natural or divine laws. Soon all will have to decide what side to be on. We have given evil - feminism, homosexuality, contraception, abortion, pornography, and drugs equal protection under the law to the point of eradicating or criminalizing good. Evil demanded from good "tolerance" and "equality under the law" - now that it is protected and considered normal - we find that evil does not tolerate good. We asked for what we are getting and going to be getting real soon. Man wants to make up his own set of rules, laws and morals, to dictate to God. Now we are going to pay the price, all of us for our infedelities and transgressions. As long as it didn't bother your life or your set of beliefs it was O.K. now that you are being affected - stop the train you yell - but it is going at 100 miles an hour with no brakes. Look around you - everywhere people are divided - that is what "diversity" and "tolerance" has gotten us.
