SEATTLE, WA -- What's going on in Puget Sound?
From sightings of a tropical dolphin to huge algae blooms, some strange
things are happening in our local waters.
A long-beaked dolphin has been spotted in the Boston Harbor area of Olympia. Annie Douglas, a biologist with Cascadia Research, says she's seen it there three times.
So how long has it been here, and why?
Douglas says a fisherman told her he's started seeing it more than a year ago. And she says she's looking into why it's so far north.
The other big Puget Sound sighting this week -- massive algae blooms. This second sighting is not as attractive as the first.
