Secret Service apologizes for tweet gaffe regarding 7th grade interrogation
The Secret
Service apologized Wednesday after an employee accidentally posted a
tweet on the federal agency’s official twitter account.
The message, posted on the @SecretService Twitter account read, "Had to monitor Fox for a story. Can't. Deal. With. The. Blathering."
It is not clear if the weet was in reference to a recent Q13 FOX News story regarding the Secret Service questioning a 13-year old Tacoma boy. The student at Truman Middle School was questioned regarding a Facebook update he had posted which referenced Osama bin Laden's death, President Obama and the danger of suicide bombers.
The agency told CNN that the tweet was "immediately removed" and an "internal follow-up" is underway.
