Large banks with billions of dollars in assets get a welfare check from the government for billions of dollars so the top management can give itself millions of dollars in bonuses for having struck a good business deal with the Federal Government. Joe Middle Class loses his job and applies for a bailout so he can continue to put food on the table and hopefully make mortgage car payments. The tea party Republicans call him a leech. Mary Senior Citizen receives a social security check each month.
She hasn’t seen an increase in her payment for over two years. The tea party Republicans say she is a leech because she depends on a government entitlement program.
Mary Middle Class is a working single mom but can’t afford insurance and her employer doesn’t provide health insurance. Her asthmatic child has a serious attack and she rushes him to the emergency room for treatment. Tea party Republicans say she is a leech because she’s playing the system. The "Tea Party" is nothing more than a honey trap for ignorant "Republicans". I put Republicans in quots because these morons don't have a clue as to the original values of the party. They are just sheeple. The non-ratified 16th amendment is an illegal "protection money" scheme perpetrated by the Federal criminals in Washington on behalf of their masters in the Federal Reserve. They should all be tarrde and feathered for their treasonous acts against the people of this nation.

Tell me about it! I worked in the construction industry until I was laid-off in November of 2009. My gross icome from unemployment and a few temp jobs was $18K for all of 2010. My federal icome tax was $850 (+$450 for state)!
I can barely survive on $18K. And then the government demands 7% of this measly icome!
But I am the leech! The tea partiers wont be happy until I donate my daily "feast" of beans & rice and PBJs to the money junkies.

I have never understood this... there is a law that requires all employers to withhold Social Security and Medicare out of YOUR paycheck unless you are a sub-contractor in which case, you are responsible for it. Furthermore, employers pay unemployment insurance to acompany so that if they lay someone off, they are able to collect unemployment. Can anyone explain why this an "ENTITLEMENT" program if YOU pay money into it or your EMPLOYER does? As far as the child is concerned, hospitals have money donated by wealthy individuals to cover things like this.

I hope we get tax refunds this year. I have a sneaking suspicion that a LOT people are not going to get their refunds-or may get partial refunds. I am already running into trouble an I efiled as mandated.
