FL - Graffiti on county buildings in DeLand contained a message of frustration and despair.
The evidence pointed to a young man who passed away about a week after the incident, Anderson said Sept. 13. He confirmed that on Sept. 16.
Investigators talked to family members.
"The family was really cooperative," Anderson said, and told investigators Chris had admitted spraying graffiti on the county buildings.
The case is now closed.
The graffiti contained a series of political messages:
"Remember public service is a duty"
"No more war only class war"
"Your days are numbered unless you remember the masses outnumber you and man are they pissed"
"Dissent is the mark of a true patriot."
"You serve the people, God help us all"
