Advantages of having a dog in times of survival.

No one mentions it - no one talks about it, but ask yourself why the military, police and search and rescue use this invaluable tool.

There is no replacing this multi purposed animal.

Since I'm on my phone typing this, it may not come across as great as I hope it will.

#1 Protection - a dog can be taught to guard against strangers - a dog can be taught to bark and hold an intruder. This is a natural instinct to protect their pack.

#2 Warning of new scents - dogs can smell ur skin cells in the food u cook. This is a very useful tool.

#3 Warmth

#4 Hunting in whatever form ur dog will do it. All dogs have some hunting instinct - maybe they Chase, maybe they point; maybe they alert

 #5 Cleaning your camp of all food and waste - good for health and safety from wild animals.

#6 Companionship - probably the most valued asset. Soldiers in war report often that without their dog they would have lost their mental capabilities. The dog grounds u in reality.

#7 Use them to assess rotting food. If they won't eat it - neither should u.

I'm sure there are many more uses for this living irreplaceable tool for survival. Comment if u have more.

Adopt one today.  The closer you are with your dog, the more likely they will protect and help you.
Dogs don't belong in the backyard, on a chain or to be ignored.
