It has come to my attention that the Constable of Union Township is making traffic stops within the City Limits of Beebe. Buddy Sims, Constable of Union Township, is in no way affiliated with the Beebe Police Department. The City would prefer this practice not occur, however, state law allows a Constable these powers.
If there is an attempt to stop your vehicle by an unknown vehicle with little or no markings and unknown driver you may call the Beebe Police Department for assistance. Call 882-3365 for assistance. If you are a female and feel unsafe, you may call 911. Ask for assistance by the Beebe Police Department.
