"I have put forth a commitment," he added, "and I would like to see our government officials put forth a commitment also."

Leesburg resident Bob Levens said he joined Tri-County Tea Party Florida out of concern about the direction of the country and the health care bill.

"There is all kind of stuff that nobody has read in the bill,"Levens said. "There is more stuff going on that people don't know about, and it's all going to come out in the next couple of years and people are going to be sitting there saying, 'What in the hell happened?'"

"People that care about their country, we'd like for them to come,"she said. "And we are nonpartisan; we leave our political party affiliation outside the door."
