GA - Communities to duke it out over census returns

Brobston first contacted City of Baxley Mayor Steve Rigdon and City of Hazlehurst Mayor Bayne Stone to see if the duo would agree to a little challenge. He offered that if one of the two towns were to have a higher percentage of census forms turned in by the evening of April 19, the mayor with the lowest percentage would have to buy the winning mayor, and his wife, a steak dinner at a restaurant of their choosing.  As of Monday, Mayor Stone requested to up the ante a little by making an additional proposal. Stone has requested the if he loses he will fly a Pirate flag at city hall in Hazlehurst for three days and if Baxley loses, Mayor Rigdon will have to fly a Yellow Jacket flag at Baxley City Hall for three days. Mayor Rigdon has accepted this challenge. So a tremendous amount of pride is on the line for both communities.
