AZ - VirTra sells three firearm simulators

VirTra Systems Inc. has sold three of its virtual reality firearm simulators to U.S. law enforcement agencies.

The Tempe-based company has sold IVR-300 simulators to the village of Skokie, Ill., and Everett, Wash., and an IVR 180 simulator to Buncombe, N.C. Financial data bout the sales was released.

The simulators are designed as interactive training tools to help law enforcement and military officials deal with potential situations.  The systems can be adjusted depending on how the user interacts with the training program.

The simulators are equipped with the company’s patent-pending Threat-Fire belt that provides an electric shock when the user makes a mistake.
