Deputies had been told an employee might have a homemade bomb in a locker. After discovering a suspicious package, it was removed from the locker and taken outside to a parking lot across the street from the plant.

The suspicious device, which was described as a homemade explosive, was isolated in the west parking lot across the street from the plant, where technicians utilizing a bomb robot rendered it safe around 2:30 p.m.

The plant was not evacuated.
