FL - It's hard to find a job in Jacksonville
The Jacksonville area is among the most difficult cities in thenation to find a job, according to the job search engine Juju.com.
The River City ranked No. 38 out of 50 cities in the Job Search Difficulty Index ranked from the least to the most difficult places to find work.
The index was calculated by dividing the number of unemployed workers in each metro area reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, by the number of jobs in Juju’s index of millions of online jobs in the US.
Tampa ranked as the least difficult city in Florida to find a job at No. 22. Miami ranked as the most difficult in the state and the third most difficult in the nation at No. 48. Orlando, at No. 39, ranked just slightly more difficult than Jacksonville.
San Jose, Calif ranked as the least difficult city to find a job,followed by Washington D.C., Baltimore, New York City and Hartford,Conn.
Detroit ranked as the most difficult city in the U.S. to find a job,followed by St. Louis; Las Vegas; Riverside, Calif.; and Los Angeles.
