LA - Checkpoint Results
Officers with the Bossier City Police Department’s Motorcycle Unit conducted a seat belt compliance checkpoint in the 1600 block of Old Benton Road on Tuesday and checked 354 vehicle.
Officers issued 17 citations for no seat belts and five citations to motorists who failed to have children in safety restraints, according to a news release. Officers also wrote nine citations for other various violations.

"What you fail to realize is that the Constitution provides a means for its interpretation. That authority lies with the Supreme Court, not with YOU. These checkpoints have already been before the Supreme Court and held to NOT be unconstitutional. Your interpretation has absolutely no value and neither does mine. You can't pick and choose which parts of the Constitution you want to believe in. Obviously it's not me thatis stupid."
