Citing health reason, a Pleasureville City Commissioner has resigned.

Sandra Woods submitted her resignation by letter on March 3. This marks the second time she said she was resigning from the council.

“It just wasn’t worth the hassle,” she said by phone last week. “It wasn’t worth me having a nervous breakdown.”

During the telephone interview, Woods initially said she had never been notified for special meetings and said she felt like she was “harassed at every meeting because I had beat Pam (Whitaker).”
