Minn. officer accused of robbing bank on his way to work
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The charges keep piling up for a former Minneapolis police officer accused of robbing a bank on his way to work.
Officers say Timothy Carson was headed to the police department to report for his shift when he stopped by a Wells Fargo bank to rob the place.
Carson has also been charged with five more armed robberies and two attempted robberies.
Detectives say Carson has admitted to the crimes.
