That's right. 

Cut up the credit cards and close your bank accounts.

I'm seriously considering it.

We have private savings away from a bank but we also have business accounts, personal accounts, personal savings accounts, savings bonds, safety deposit box, bank issued credit cards and the rental of a credit card machine and account.

The bank sees most of our money, they are able to track our spending, see where we spend, what time we spend, why we spend and then make their calculations upon how to market to us and manipulate us into buying their products.

I had a job pull out on me this last week due to lack of funds.  I had already issued his check to my account but thought I had time to "catch it" before it processed as "NSF".  I talked to customer service, thought it was handled and proceeded throughout my week.

That check WAS cashed and returned, resulting in huge screw ups within my accounting paperwork as well as causing me NSF charges and of course they ran it THREE TIMES to collect their NSF charges.

I hate banks, I always have.  They act like they are doing YOU a favor when in reality they are just USING YOU to spend your money to make more money for themselves.

1st of the Year 2010 - CLOSE YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS!!!!!!  If all of us do it then they will have no choice but to REFORM AND FIX THE PROBLEMS!!!

We'll see if I do it or if I'm just fuming and pissed.  I sure do love to whip out a card anytime I please.

I think it's really important for living an anarchy life is to live outside of government regulations which would include credit cards and bank accounts.  They trap us by telling us that cards are more easily accepted than cash but this is a FALSE statement.  Ask any store owner if they'd rather you paid in cash or card - EVERY SINGLE ONE will say "cash!".  Cash is not recordable and there is no paper trail following it.

Accounts are gone - cards are gone.  Jan 1 2010!
