Maybe I've done more than I thought.

My husband went to lunch today with a few of the lady's from our local co-op preschool.  He has a hard time hiding how he feels about everything and anything.  He is very outspoken about how he feels about our current world and the impacts certain things are beginning to impact our every-day lives.

He came home feeling like he intimidated these women.  He said he tried not to, but he's a big imposing man packing a concealed weapon in his pants.  They got on the subject of vaccines, of which we don't believe in.  One of the ladies says that because of her child's health they felt it was best to get her all immunizations, well of course that started him going about the horrors and long time effects these vaccines have.  Hopefully he educated somoen who will go home and educated themselves further on the subject.  Kudos to him.

I have a hard time with this aspect of living a anarchist life...  I have a hard time talking to others about it or spreading the wealth of knowledge as you come across it, in order to help and educate those that you love.  Most times people aren't ready to listen and hear what you are trying to tell them and I find it hard to try to convince someone that I'm not crazy.  So I rarely do it.

Upon talking to a good friend who exclaimed to me the other day, " You are so extreme!  It's rather concerning!"

I felt attacked for a brief moment and then proceeded to ask myself what that person meant?  Because I thought she could handle some information about stupid wal-mart?  Or is it the current wealth of knowledge I've encountered about flouride?  I'm not sure but when she said that, I took a step back and looked from outside.

My quest for life outside of the box has 'concerned' one of my very best friends.  How alarming.

Within 6 months the following changes have taken place in my family and home.

- We moved to a rural farm area where we sit alone on 162 acres of forest land behind us.  This includes the use of a well (no more flouride) and septic tanks.  It also allowed us to get chickens and a goat and grow a garden (we're doing so next spring).  We have 4 neighbors and live off of a mile long dirt driveway.
-  We chose not get our child vaccinated for flu or swine flu,  only 2 kids in her class were not vaccinated, including her.
- Both my partner and I got concealed weapon permits and weapons to carry.
- We changed to a flouride free toothpaste.  We are both experiencing pretty extreme detoxing side effects after doing this.  It has been about 3 weeks and the edge is starting to fade but every tooth in our mouths hurt, we experienced head aches and body aches as well as kidney pain and numbness.
-  We began to take a multi-vitamin, a first for us.
- I started this site - *smile*

So I'm well on my way.........  I just have to be strong in my beliefs and my own family's moral and priciples.
